The itinerary allows you to spend two unforgettable nights in the breathtaking Serengeti plains, while still giving you the opportunity to explore Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and visit a local village where you can discover and experience the rich diversity of Tanzanian cultures.
Karibu Tanzania – Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional naturalist guide, who will provide a brief introduction to your upcoming safari adventure.
You will then proceed to Tarangire National Park for a game drive, with a packed lunch provided. Covering approximately 2,600 square kilometers and ranking as the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania, Tarangire is renowned for its spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife.
The park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants and its unique seasonal wildlife migration, during which nearly 250,000 animals move into the park during the dry season in search of water. After an extensive and rewarding game drive, you will head to your lodge to relax and enjoy sundowners, taking in stunning views of the Tarangire River and surrounding acacia woodlands while sharing stories from the day’s adventure.

After breakfast, you will travel through the fertile highlands, passing local villages where the Iraqw people cultivate corn, coffee, and wheat. Continuing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater before proceeding onward to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.
The Serengeti is the Africa of dreams. When people imagine Africa, they often picture these vast plains. Countless wildlife documentaries have been filmed here, and for good reason—this legendary ecosystem is home to the Great Migration and is considered one of the last great natural wonders on Earth.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park spans nearly 15,000 square kilometers and supports an extraordinary abundance of wildlife, including over 2 million grazing animals, more than 4,000 lions, around 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and approximately 500 bird species. Enjoy a game drive across the endless plains dotted with acacia trees and ancient granite kopjes, where lions survey their kingdom. You may witness the Great Migration in motion or spot an elusive leopard resting in a riverine forest.
For an unforgettable experience, you may choose an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti. As night falls, the distant roar of lions provides a thrilling soundtrack to the wilderness.
In the evening, drive to your camp for sundowners, soaking in panoramic views of the Serengeti plains while sharing stories from the day’s remarkable adventure.

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive across the vast open grasslands of the Serengeti, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy in the heart of the wilderness. Spend the day exploring this iconic landscape, renowned for its incredible wildlife and sweeping plains.
After an extensive and rewarding game drive, return to your camp in the late afternoon. Relax with sundowners while taking in panoramic views of the Serengeti plains and sharing memorable moments from the day’s adventure.

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will depart for a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy within this natural wonder. Enclosed by towering walls rising over 2,000 feet, the crater forms a unique ecosystem where wildlife remains year-round. Expect excellent game viewing, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, antelopes, endangered black rhinos, and a wide variety of bird species.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a vast highland region located along the eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its centerpiece. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge to relax and enjoy sundowners, taking in beautiful views over the valley while sharing stories from the day’s memorable safari experience.

After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mto wa Mbu village for a walking or biking tour. Visit banana farms, rice plantations, and the local market, and have the chance to meet locals and learn about banana beer, Makonde woodcarvings, and traditional tribal painting techniques. The village offers a great introduction to everyday life in Africa. Enjoy a local African lunch in the middle of the banana plantations before driving back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your adventure concludes.
