This is a very special safari designed to allow you to spend most of your time in the Serengeti National Park, focusing on the Great Serengeti Migration during the calving season from December to April. During this period, vast herds of wildebeest gather around the Lake Ndutu area and the southern and central regions of the Serengeti, spreading across the plains to graze on the rich, short grass. This season also attracts an exceptional concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, and leopards, offering outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities.
This carefully crafted itinerary begins in Tarangire National Park, famously known as the “Elephants’ Paradise,” before continuing to Lake Manyara National Park, home to the unique tree-climbing lions. You will then descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world, before concluding the safari with a cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu, where you will experience local traditions and daily life.
