Day 1: Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up in Arusha by your professional naturalist guide from Inspire Safari Tours, who will provide a short briefing about the exciting adventure ahead. With a picnic lunch packed, you will drive through the lush highlands, where you can observe the Iraqw people cultivating corn, coffee, and wheat. As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing onward to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday. The Serengeti is the Africa of dreams. Immortalized in countless wildlife documentaries, this iconic park is home to the Great Migration and is widely regarded as one of the last great natural wonders on Earth. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park supports an astonishing concentration of wildlife, including over 2 million ungulates, more than 4,000 lions, around 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and approximately 500 bird species across nearly 15,000 square kilometers. Enjoy thrilling game drives across the endless plains, scattered with acacia trees and rocky kopjes where lions survey their territory. Witness vast herds on the move during the Great Migration or search for elusive leopards along riverine forests. For a truly unforgettable experience, you may choose an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti plains. Overnight: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy within the crater. With its steep 2,000-foot walls, the crater forms a natural enclosure, meaning very few animals migrate in or out. As a result, wildlife viewing is exceptional, with excellent chances to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, antelopes, the rare black rhino, and a wide variety of bird species.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a vast highland region located along the eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater as its centerpiece. After an unforgettable safari experience, you will begin your late-afternoon drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off, marking the end of your adventure.
